To life, to life, L’chai-im! Tevye’s wedding toast says, “Here’s to our prosperity, good health and happiness, and most important, to life!” The Word of God definitely agrees and tells us how:
“My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body.” (Proverbs 4:20-22) and below (3 John 1:2)
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
Let’s pray these words as a blessing over us for the NEW YEAR 2021, that they may find fulfillment by penetrating deeper into our awareness through the revelation of Holy Spirit. The word of God is 100% true, all we need to do is agree with it and then RECEIVE it personally for ourselves. It sounds so simple, so why do we have such a hard time, sometimes, appropriating it? It’s because the world, the flesh and the devil are right there waiting to try to snatch it away from us. The world tries to distract us, the flesh yells out symptoms, “look at me, look at me!” and the devil, gets out his book of accusations and lies, custom fitted to convince us that that we are guilty and too unworthy to be healed, prosperous and lead a happy life.
But we look around at our dear brothers and sisters and say, No, to the enemy, you are wrong! We are the good ground who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience. We may be in the world but we’re not of it, we do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. We will speak to our symptoms saying, “you are the lie, the word of God is the truth!” Let us pray for each other and encourage each other in this way until it penetrates deeper and we become more and more aware of His Presence and His Power within us and one day we wake up and the symptoms are gone!
“The thief cometh not, but to steal, kill and to destroy, I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
“Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy Name! and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103:1-5)
The Healing room report is: God is still at work in the Kingwood healing room. In spite of much fear because of Covid-19, we still ended up with 20 appointments at the Nathanial Center, and then by the end of May many, many Zoom appointments started coming in. I wasn’t even counting them, but God knows that many were healed and lifted up in spirit; let’s pray for human contact sessions to increase at the Nathaniel Center this new year.
