So we took a leisurely look at the botanical gardens, told the oasis ‘so long, for now’ and made our way to Jerusalem…

For a good while, along the highway, we could see the Dead Sea…. the greenish blue water made the mountains in the distance seemed dreamy, almost imaginary…

 

We arrived very late at night and were so glad for reservations….after driving into a car elevator which descended 2 floors for a parking spot, and riding the elevator back up to the front desk… a strange idea but no sensation of going down… how did they do that?!
