When we first arrived, we promised to help around the March of Life House on a special project, whatever was needed. Rozalie offered to help in the garden and I volunteered to clean windows. Our days were racing by! On the day before Yom Kippur, we still hadn’t found the opportunity to keep our promise, so we started early and worked until the afternoon. Lesley and Petra were grateful!

We finished in time to honor the Eve of Yom Kippur. The fast began at dusk, with prayers together.
