We weren’t exactly heartbroken when we learned Turkish air cancelled our flight. The situation was awkward for a while, but we learned it was typical for that airline, and Rozalie adapted quickly. She kept our room at Hotel Gilgal for one more night, and with determination, after a few phone calls, scheduled the same flight for the next day. So, we had the chance to visit Trumpet of Salvation! Jaffa is at the south end of Tel Aviv, and the walk there was breathtakingly beautiful as the sun set on the Mediterranean. We found the location of the group, in a neighborhood with not much of a sign on the door. Inside, there were guests from all over the world. Every day, they go out, two by two, and spread the love of G-d. That night, we joined them for supper, and then got to go out with them, to sing and play music, and to visit with people there in the open area. We met a couple from Egypt, a group of Arab men, a woman from South America, and noticed some Orthodox Jewish young men nearby. The people who came near seemed to enjoy our music, including a group from Finland, some from Germany, and of course, we represented Texas.
